DATASYST has been awarded accreditation by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) in the field of Mechanical Testing. The quality system, technical staff and calibration protocols were reviewed as part of the accreditation.

Laboratory accreditation is defined as formal recognition of an organization's technical competency to perform specific tests or types of tests. The general requirements for laboratory accreditation are contained in ISO/IEC 17025; accreditation requirements, however, go beyond ISO/IEC 17025. A2LA also works with accrediting organizations worldwide through its Mutual Recognition Agreement partners, which has gained the accreditation program national and international acceptance.

Considering the needs of clients who use accredited laboratories specific technical criteria have been developed to amplify the requirements of the general criteria. DATASYST has been recognized in the field of Mechanical Testing and a Scope of Accreditation which lists specific tests, types of tests for which DATASYST has been found competent.
